Tribal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Education

Centers:

The goals of the Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan’s Tribal Home Visiting project are to support the development of healthy, happy, successful American Indian/Alaska Native (AIAN) children and families through a coordinated, high-quality, evidence-based, home visiting strategy; and to expand the evidence base around home visiting programs for AIAN populations. MPHI’s Center for Healthy Communities provides technical consultation and support for a mixed methods evaluation of an enhanced early learning curriculum; provides technical consultation and support on benchmark data collection, analysis, and reporting; and provides support for capacity building and training of staff on evaluation, benchmark data collection, analysis, reporting, data quality assurance, and quality improvement plan implementation.
