Senior Project Coordinator
Katie has been employed with the Michigan Public Health Institute since 2009, and currently serves as a Senior Project Coordinator with the Center for Child and Family Health. In her position, she coordinates Michigan’s child fatality review and prevention work housed at CCFH and is the Principal Investigator for the CDC and NIH-funded Sudden Unexpected Infant Death and Sudden Death in the Young Case Registries in Michigan. Katie also provides expertise and guidance related to the design and implementation of state- and local-level evaluation plans for programs focused on topics ranging from home-visiting services to oral health care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology and a Master of Arts in Ecological-Community Psychology, both from Michigan State University.
