The Michigan Guide to Creating a Collaborative Approach to Supporting Families and Babies
with Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (NOWS)

We developed The Michigan Guide to Creating a Collaborative Approach to Supporting Families and Babies with Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (NOWS) to expand on the SAMHSA/ACF guidelines. This handbook offers step-by-step instructions and resources that demonstrate how a community can promote systems change in Michigan. While the Michigan Guide functions as a standalone document, not all material from the original SAMHSA/ACF guidelines is repeated. To download the guide click here.
