MPHI research scientists, Dr. Dori Pynnonen Hopkins and Dr. Sara McGirr were recently published on the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) website. The MPHI scientists wrote a blog post, Not for the Faint of Heart: Conducting Statewide Surveys, on what they learned after conducting a state-wide survey on sexual assault in Michigan. The researchers learned that “conducting a statewide survey in the name of evaluation is not for the faint of heart”. The survey supports Rape Prevention & Education (RPE) efforts in Michigan and was funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
